Dismas Home is the only entity in New Hampshire that exclusively addresses the unique needs of justice-involved women with substance misuse. With your help, we can provide a second home for our courageous residents who are determined to break the cycle of involvement with the justice system, rebuild their lives, and create a better future for themselves.
The Courage to Change Campaign will allow us to provide an additional home to support a post-transitional program encompassing housing, residential support programs, and vocational training. This second location in Rochester, NH, will include 14 bedrooms, a commercial kitchen, living and dining space, clinical and executive office space, and recreational and outdoor gardening space. With 24/7 clinical care, this home will support women through their journey to a successful transition into the community.
Dismas Home is proud to participate in the Community Development Finance Authority (CDFA) Tax Credit Program. Businesses with a tax burden in New Hampshire can donate directly online to Dismas Home and receive considerable tax relief. The process is both easy to use and impactful to the future of Dismas Home.
Dismas Home is seeking the generous support of individuals, businesses, corporations, and foundations to help us bring this project to fruition. Your contribution will directly fund the acquisition of a new transitional living home, ensuring that justice-involved women have a place to call home and attain much-needed therapy and skills training. With your generous gift, you can be part of our mission, allowing Dismas Home to continue providing much-needed care while expanding our program, thereby decreasing the recidivism rate for justice-involved women in New Hampshire.
Dismas Home is a 501 C (3) non-profit and your donation is tax-deductible as allowed by law.. All donations are invested in providing our residents with the most comprehensive, wrap-around services. So please consider how you might work with us to change lives with a gift to the Courage to Change Campaign. Your support is urgently needed to make this second home a reality.
